Rolling around ….

This week was calm and quiet….. pretty normal, I guess;  but our weekend was actually busy …

First, we had to start looking for a new car; our car is sort of old and is giving us to much to spend on, so we think that the best decision is to spend on a new/used vehicle.

I know that is not the best idea to take the kids to a car dealer place but we have to take our kids with us this time, and I am saying this because this the process to get a new/used car is slow and takes a lot of time, but the guys at the dealer shop were very nice with us and let the kids have a good time in the meantime we work to find what was best for us.

Later that day we got together with my cousin and her family IMG_1591for lunch … It was a really nice time and a so-so lunch.. We when to a Colombian restaurant in Long Island call Pollos Mario we have been there before and the food used to nice, however this time the food was not as good as we remember; but we enjoy our time together. can you tell?

Sunday started really early for me, I woke up at around 5:30 A.M and went straight to the Laundry; I had a lot of clothes to wash… I finished my task at around 8:30 A.M IMG_1596and at home my family was waiting for me to find out what were the plans for the rest of the day.

We had plan to continue with the car hunt but I feel truly bad for my kids so we changed our original plan and headed to Coney Island and took the kids to the NY Aquarium and to Luna Park that is right by the boardwalk. Leonardo loves claw machines and this was the places to be for him, for Daniela this  will be the first time there so it will be really nice to see her reaction.

At the NY Aquarium we did no spend much time because this is under construction since Hurricane Sandy that almost destroys the place so there is not much to see or do for now and by the way it was crowded. We did enjoy the sea Lions show.

We then continue enjoying the weather walking to Luna Park that like I said before is right by the Boardwalk; this theme park offer attractions for all kids and adults .. I think Leo was the one most excited of us all, Daniela was kind of scare at first but them she started to like it when she saw of the prizes hanging she wanted all… lol

We all have a very nice time in Coney Island, the kids had fun playing the machines and getting prizes, the weather was awesome and at the end we all were exhausted but happy… overall this was a productive weekend…

Ps. we are still looking to buy a car 🙁

  4. I remember shopping for a car a few years ago with my kids with me. Good thing the dealership had a kids area and a restaurant. Also, I allowed my daughters to bring their video games to keep them occupied.

Go for a Toyota! They are really nice, family friendly, and their cars last for a really long time. #ProductReviewParty
