Spring is blooming and we are getting ready for the family road trip season … lol, I just love to be on the road!!!
A few weeks ago we had a road trip to Milford, CT , we all need it a well deserve break from our routines, from our house, from school, from the same people… I was feeling like, I need it to see something different, I need it to sleep in a different bed, I don’t know at least a little change. Have you ever felt this way? I hope not to be the only one.. 🙂
I love so much these guys…They follow with all my crazy ideas, they never backs out, Thanks you mis amores!!
Milford, CT is not that far from NY, it was almost a 2 hour drive taking away our stop for lunch. Every time we visit CT we have great time, there is always something to see, a new place to visit, we love it… I am even thinking to eventually move there. 😉 …. trying to convince my hubby here :).
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites at Milford, CT. The hotel is looks pretty nice and is well maintain, it has indoor pool that is open year round. They offer complementary breakfast for as long as you are staying. I know, Leo enjoy it a lot.
The front desk was always welcoming and willing to help. It was really a good place to stay.
Saturday morning we took the kids to PEZ candy Visitor Center… Jummmm!!! I love PEZ too…
This is a small place but they have made it fun creating a secret message game. They have hidden letters on specific PEZ dispensers we have to find them the complete the message. We all got into the game and while looking around for the hidden object we enjoy all the kinds of PEZ dispensers they have from the oldest one to the brand new.
When you put together the secret message you then have the chance to play to get a free PEZ candy dispenser you always get a prize and your entire family can play there is not limitation. You also get a $6 dollars store credit and trust me we bought lots of candy!!!!
That same afternoon we drove to Gillette Castle, it was almost one hour drive but it is a great place to visit with spectacular views.
Over all this was a great family time. at the end of the day we were tired but we couldn’t finish the day without a well deserve retail shopping at the closest mall.
The weekend was to short for us, but we came back home relax, happy and recharge for the new week ahead.
