With summer already here nothing worries me more than the protection of my baby’s sensitive skin.
Keeping her skin protected from the UV rays and hydrated it is always our priority (and I think every parents as well).I am so happy to have the opportunity to try and review the New Baby Dove line.
The New Baby Dove line has been developed for babies with normal to dry skin and goes
beyond mildness to actively replenish lost moisture and nutrients into baby’s skin. All products are hypoallergenic and mild.
Honestly, I have used several different brand of baby product (if not all of them) and I can truly say that Dove has top every single other brand to shame. Baby Dove has created products for all baby skin types in its Rich Moisture and Sensitive Moisture ranges.
Getting ready to spend some time out with Daniela is now worry-free. Dove focused on healthy skin for my family.
I know this are baby products but I love the Baby Dove wipes….. 🙂 They clean my face and keep it moisture and their fragrance is lovely.
Baby Dove together with Dr. Tanya Altmann shared with me some helpful tips to getting ready for the season.
Expert Baby Skin-care for a Worry-Free Summer
Families everywhere are looking forward to a few months of BBQs, beach and more. But as parents, it also means being extra attentive to your baby’s skin. After all, baby skin is more fragile and delicate than adult skin – losing water 5x faster! – leaving it extra susceptible to summer heat and rays.
- While there’s no one right way to parent, there is a superior way to care for baby’s skin. Whenever possible keep your baby out of direct sun exposure, as a baby’s skin is especially sensitive and can easily burn, especially during peak UV sun ray hours from 10 am to 4pm. Be vigilant your baby won’t be able to tell you that they’ve had too much sun. It’s critical to avoid even the slightest sunburns or heat rash.
- When outside, please also remember to protect your baby’s skin by covering him up with SPF clothing, a wide brim hat and a good stroller shade. It’s ok to use sunscreen when shade and proper covering are not available on any exposed skin of any age. Choose a chemical-free product with broad-spectrum protection and SPF of 30 or greater and reapply frequently, especially after swimming or sweating.
- After coming inside or before bed, be sure to wash off sunscreen with a hypoallergenic baby wash designed to moisturize, like Baby Dove Rich Moisture Tip to Toe Wash and Rich Moisture lotion. These products help replenish moisture and nutrients to protect the baby skin’s natural barrier.
- Bonus tip: A fun day of playing in the sand, also includes getting rid of sandy legs and feet after, which can be a pain. Sprinkle a bit of baby powder on your baby’s legs and feet right before leaving the beach/park. The baby powder will cause the sand to easily fall off and leaves the skin soft, until you get home for bath time!
Now, my friends one lucky baby will have the opportunity to try the New Baby Dove line.
I have partner with Dove to share a very short giveaway with all my mommy and daddy readers, so one lucky baby and their parent would have to change to experience this awesome product.
This post was sponsored by Dove. I acquired complimentary products to facilitate my overview, although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own
I’ve always enjoyed using dove it’s amazing 🙂
Dove is one of my favorite skincare brands. I use their bar of soap to wash my face, and I sometimes use their body wash.
I like the fact they now have a baby line too, now everyone in the family can use Dove!!

Wow I didn’t know that Dove had a baby line. I’ll have to definitely check them out. Thanks!
I use Dove products for myself. However, I had no clue that they had a baby line.
I really wish Dove had had a baby range when my two were born. I love their products, and would definitely have bought them for the bubs 🙂
