Coming Soon on Netflix: My Melody & Kuromi (July 24)
One of the most exciting new releases this month is the adorable stop-motion animation series My Melody & Kuromi, streaming exclusively on Netflix starting July 24. As a longtime Sanrio fan, I can’t wait to cozy up and watch this sweet new adventure with my kids—or honestly, even by myself!
In this 12-episode series, My Melody, the cheerful and kind-hearted bunny, faces off with her rival Kuromi, who’s determined to win the hearts of Mariland’s dessert-loving residents. But when a mysterious pink heart sparks strange events in town, these two polar opposites must team up to save their home.
🎶 Bonus: The theme song “Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino)” is performed by K-pop icons LE SSERAFIM, who bring their own charm and energy to the show. Talk about the ultimate collab!
This release is extra special because it celebrates My Melody’s 50th anniversary and Kuromi’s 20th anniversary, and it’s the very first time they’ve been featured in a stop-motion series!
