If youโve been looking for a fun summer event to break up the usual water park routine, this is the one to add to your family bucket list. From festive foam dance parties to Santa Claus himself rocking beachwear, this unique Christmas in July event is free with your admissionโno special ticket required, which makes it even better for families looking for affordable fun!
๐ What is Santaโs Beach Bash at Dutch Wonderland?
Santaโs taking a vacation, and he picked Dutch Wonderland as his summer destination! During Santaโs Beach Bash, you and your little ones can enjoy:
- Santa Storytime twice daily at Storytime Corner (10:30 AM and 3:00 PM)
- Magical Meet & Greets with Santa at his Jolly Lodge from 11:30 AMโ12:15 PM and 12:30 PMโ1:00 PMโperfect for those holiday selfies in the sunshine
- Foam Party Fun at 2:00 PM near Market Square that will leave kids soaked and smiling
- Blizzard Dance Party and Royalโs Bubble Bash in the late afternoonโideal for winding down the day with some energetic moves (Bubble Dance Party is on weekdays only!)
And yesโyou can absolutely take photos with Santa! Bring your camera or phone and capture those sweet summer memories. Heโs bringing the holiday spirit, just with flip-flops and sunglasses. ๐

๐ What to Bring (From a Mom Whoโs Been There)
Since itโs mid-July in Pennsylvania, youโll want to pack for both heat and fun! Hereโs what I recommend:
- Water shoes for kids (especially for the foam party)
- Sunscreen + hats
- A change of clothes and towel
- Festive summer outfits (think reindeer ears with swimsuits!)
- Your phone or cameraโyes, youโll want those Santa selfies!
Wondering if food and drinks are allowed? Dutch Wonderland allows unopened bottled water and small snacks, which is a lifesaver when traveling with little ones.
