Packing for a family trip can get expensive surprisingly fast. Between toiletries, travel-size products, snacks, and all those little things we suddenly remember we need right before leaving, the cost can really add up.
That’s one reason I’ve gotten into the habit of saving travel size free samples whenever I receive them. Those tiny shampoo packets, skincare samples, toothpaste tubes, lotions, and other mini products may not seem like much at first, but they’re actually perfect for weekend getaways, road trips, and family vacations.
Instead of buying a brand-new travel-size version of something we already use at home, I check our little sample stash first. It saves money, takes up less room in our luggage, and gives us a chance to try new products without committing to the full-size version.
