How To Make a Memorial Day American Flag Fruit Platter
This adorable Memorial Day American Flag Platter is the perfect dish to showcase during any of your patriotic parties. It’s super easy to make and everyone will most definitely enjoy it. It is super cute, so it makes a great table decoration (before everyone starts to enjoy it, that is).
This is perfect for both kids and adults, everyone is guaranteed to love it and it makes a great appetizer!
Here is what you need to make this great Memorial Day Fruit Plate:
- Strawberries cut into half
- Blueberries
- Voortman Bakery Summer Berry wafers (Limited Edition for the season)
- One banana (optional)
First, is the fruit I used blueberries and strawberries because they’re my kids’ favorites, but you could use blackberries, raspberries, or watermelon instead if you wanted.
Start by cutting the strawberries in half to make the lines. Break half bag of Voorman Bakery Limited Edition Summer Berry Wafers in pieces to recreate the white stripes of the flag. Next, place the blueberries in the upper left side of the dish or you can use a bowl and place it on the platter
Once you have everything lined up, there you have it. (I used star shape bananas for an extra color but it’s totally up to you); A super cute American Flag made out of some yummy fruit. You can put this platter together in almost no time and trust my everyone is guaranteed to love it.
