LuminoCity Festival (LuminoCity) is set to enchant East Meadow once again with its dazzling 2023 Holiday Lights Festival. From November 9, 2023, to January 7, 2024, Eisenhower Park will come alive with the mesmerizing ‘Wonder Journey’ theme. Offering a magical experience for families and friends every Thursday through Monday, from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Unveiling the Wonder Journey
This year’s theme, “Wonder Journey,” promises an immersive and heartwarming exploration of the holiday spirit. LuminoCity’s Wonder Journey boasts 53 experiences celebrating the season and beyond. Drawing inspiration from the beloved children’s story, “Alice in Wonderland.” Visitors of all ages can encounter iconic scenes, from the Wonderland Tea Party to a life-sized Queen’s Castle with a thrilling slide fit for royalty.
Dive into the Underwater Enchantment
New to the festival this year is the highly anticipated underwater experience. Showcasing stunning displays of local sea creatures, designed by talented local children. Partnering with the Long Island Children’s Museum (LICM). LuminoCity adds an educational touch, making this underwater adventure a fantastic family-friendly attraction.

Breathtaking Light Art Displays: The festival features large-scale light art displays and attractions. Ensuring an unforgettable holiday experience for friends and families.
Internationally Renowned Sculptures: Explore Jocelyn’s Garden and Chiaozza’s Forest. Designed by renowned artists Jocelyn Tsaih and Chiaozza, adding an artistic touch to the festival.
Educational Collaboration with LICM: The collaboration with Long Island Children’s Museum brings an educational component to the underwater experience. Offering families a unique opportunity to learn about cultural traditions.
Mystical Jellyfish Forest and More: Wonder Journey introduces new light sculptures, including Mystical Jellyfish Forest, Ship & Dolphin Lagoon, Giant Whale Tail, Imaginary Sea Creature, and Fiddler Crab, all designed by children in collaboration with LuminoCity.

LuminoCity’s Impact Beyond the Festival
The collaboration with LICM extends beyond the festival, with a concurrent exhibit detailing the process of turning 2-D drawings into illuminated lanterns. Winners from the museum’s workshop will see their unique creations brought to life as 3-D light sculptures at the 2023 LuminoCity Festival.
Expanding the Magic
In addition to the East Meadow location, LuminoCity is set to launch two more holiday festivals in new markets: ‘Golden Holiday’ in Phoenixville, PA, and ‘Bay State Blissfest’ in Montgomery County, MD.
