I think like many toys on the market Scruff-a-Luvs appeal to children so much due to the excitement of opening and revealing the toy inside! More of the joy comes from this, than what is actually inside I think sometimes.

Wash It

We had to wash the Scruff-a-Luv first which The little one did in one of her dolls’ “pool”. No extra soap needs it.

Squeeze It

After this nice wash all they need is a good squeeze, let it dry, and brush. Now that is summer we let Dani’s new kitty in the sun to dry but if you like to speed up the process use a hair dryer.

Help It Dry

I believe that the process of rescuing this little creature, washing and grooming it was a lovely task for the littlest. And even for us (parents) we enjoyed doing it together. It took some time and was fun.

Each Scruff‐a‐Luv comes as a matted ball of colored fur with only its eyes showing, so it’s a mystery what animal kids are rescuing!. Each Scruff‐a‐Luv comes with a collar, name tag, adoption certificate, brush and hair clips. Scruff‐a‐luvs can be washed over and over again. This special kind of plush allows kids to play with it in the bath, role play with it, and care for it like a real pet – the possibilities are endless!
