Summer break is always excited for the kids and we have to keep them entertain and of course, we (parents) also need a break from work and to get out of our routine. I hope these 9 tips come in handy when you start planning to visit Hershey Park.
Planning a road trip and a week is super excited but for me, this will be also the craziest week because I will have to get everything prepared, but knowing me, I’ll leave everything for the last minute.
During this trip, we will be stopping at Hershey Park. This will be the first time there for the entire family, and we are super excited.
I have put together these 9 Tips to visit Hershey Park that help us with the planning of our visit and I hope they can help you too.

1. PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS ONLINE.
Yes, I know this post is sponsored and got tickets in exchange. but, something that we noticed upon our arrival was the long lines at the ticket booth. There were 4 windows open for ticketing but the lines couldn’t move fast enough. It was a really hot sunny day and having your tickets handy was a blessing for lots of peps.
2. PLAN YOUR VISIT DURING A WEEKDAY
Of course, if this is possible with you and won’t change your plans. We visited on a Thursday and it was a lot of people. Yet, we didn’t have to do wait in line for a long time and had the opportunity to do most of the rides.
3. GET THE HERSHEY PARK APP
The Hershey Mobile App is totally FREE for iPhone and Android. What’s great about the app is that you can sort rides by height measurements so you can have a better idea where you can little ones have fun also you can keep track on the map for the closest bathrooms and places to eat.
4. PURCHASE THE GAME VALUE PACK
You can play up to 13 games all around the park for just $19. Is perfect because you can set a budget just for food and don’t have to worry about overspending.
5. GET PREPARE TO GET WET
Don’t forget to pack your bathing suit, sandals, towels, and water shoes for the littlest of the family and you will be ready to head over to Boardwalk. What is the Boardwalk? Once you’re at the park these are the 2 tip you can’t forget to follow:
6. GET YOUR KIDS HEIGHT MEASURED AT ANY OFFICAL MEASUREMENT STATION.
Be sure to do this first thing when you get to the park. Once your kid is measured he/she will receive a bracelet with the candy group they belong to, then look for the signs at each ride entrance to see if your candy brand is eligible to ride!
7. PURCHASE A SOUVENIER CUP
For only $14.99* you can sip on your favorite fountain drinks and ICEE® all day long. All cups are scanned to validate the purchase. You must wait at least 10 mins between refills.

8. VISIT THE ZOO
Entrance to ZooAmerica is included in your one-price admission when you visit from within Hersheypark. So don’t forget to make that detour and enjoy the zoo.
9. VISIT HERSHEY CHOCOLATE WORLD
Even though you are officially out of the park at this point you can’t leave Hershey without visiting Hershey Chocolate World and going the Hershey’s Chocolate Tour that is awesome for the kids and completely FREE.
