This post was made possible thanks to my friends at Voortman Bakery. I was provided the products to facilitate this review.
Are you hosting a party or your family for the big game this year? My family is a huge football fan and they can’t wait. This year I’ll be hosting in our house and I’m not sure what to expect. So I have put together this super easy cookie platter just in time for the big Game Day everyone would love.
Thankfully, my family is super understating and as a good Latino family, we are all pitching in with a dish or snack to share (I wouldn’t have the energy to put together several dishes for this nice occasion ..
You can consider me a semi-zombie by now).
Super Easy Cookie Platter Just In Time For The Big Game Day
I covered the dining table with a green football field table cloth and was all hands in putting together a delicious cookie platter.
As a mom, I’m thinking about the kids and how to keep them entertained during a long Game like this… Doesn’t matter how Super the game is.
So, some fun juice bags, popcorn, and chips & salsa will come in handy as well.
The cookie platter was super fun to put together. I got an assortment of Voortman Bakery Cookies. I got wafers, Oatmeal, Coconut, Almont, and some other flavors. Soo good all of them.
Why Choose Voortman Bakery cookies to decorate your table for Game Day?
Voortman Bakery uses real ingredients, like whole grain oats, coconut, and almonds. Plus, there are no artificial colors, flavors, high-fructose corn syrup, or trans-fat in any of our cookies. It’s differences like these that make each bite so delicious.
This platter decoration was super easy to put together.
- Large silver or gold (dependents of you have available)
- Assortment of cookies.
- Game decoration
I started by fixing up the grass around the platter leaving space in the middle. Around the platter, you can start by putting the cookies in a pattern, and in the middle, the space is for the wafers. I broke the wafers into little bite pieces for the kids to enjoy easily
(and to not find wafer crumbs all over the house.. lol) and finally decorate them with some football flags or flags from the team you are rooting for.
I know, I know, where are the snacks for the big people …. If you were invited to come for the Big day, Please don’t forget to bring your dish….. we will be waiting… lol
